§ 12-12. Placement of receptacles for collection.

  • (a)

    Residential. It shall be the duty of every person having charge and control of any residential premises to set out or place receptacles for the collection of refuse, rubbish, miscellaneous debris and combined rubbish and/or other solid waste, green waste and/or recyclables, as follows:

    Any receptacle for the purpose of reception and removal of solid waste, green waste and/or recyclables shall be placed at the curb in front of the dwelling, provided that the permittee may designate some other location for the placement of receptacles when such placement will expedite collection, as approved by the city manager.

    (b)

    Nonresidential. In all other areas, containers shall be placed in a safe location agreed upon by permittee. Unresolved disputes regarding the location of receptacles will be decided by the city manager.
